Cultural Events

Cultural Events Organisation

Faculty Room is keen to work with local and regional individuals and companies who are interested in organising events in the community.

Projects we are currently working on include such things as:

Cinema festivals – cultural, mainstream and literary projects are all of interest

Film societies – if you would like to host a society event, gathering or festival, please ask for our expert advice and management/ promotion services

Book readings and signings – let us help you find writers, authors and keynote speakers for your event and then assist with the hosting and local promotion of it

Wine tastings – our Directors are WSET qualified wine sommeliers, with contacts who would be delighted to host and lead a wine tasting night for your party or event

Cultural talks – let us help you find writers, authors, interesting presenters and keynote speakers for your event and then assist with the hosting and local promotion of it. We also look forward to putting on our own cultural talks in your local area.

Cookery demonstrations – one of our Directors is an expert baker and we have contacts within the catering industry who can prepare and host food and drink preparation presentations for you or your group

Children’s Summer Clubs – as the holidays roll towards us, we always look for the best ways to entertain, look after, educate and enrich the children from the local community. Please watch out for upcoming advertisements of our in-house holiday or after school clubs. Also, please contact us if you would like support with setting up your own holiday clubs.

Holiday language courses for adults – whether it is a ‘Ladies who lunch’ group activity, a family looking for some key phrases for a holiday abroad or as a personal interest hobby, we can tailor our classes to suit individuals, groups or businesses.

If you would like help and advice with arranging an event in the community or would like to find out more about our own upcoming courses and events, please contact us here….
